Atlético Madrid officially finalised the transfer for Croatian international striker, Mario Mandzukic in a €22 million move from Bayern Munich almost two weeks ago and despite the 28-year-old having already participated in the club’s first week of training, Los Colchoneros will finally formally present the player to the media this Thursday.
In a statement via the club’s website, Atleti announced that Mandzukic would be formally presented and speak with the media before changing into his new number ’9′ kit and greeting the fans.
The club had encouraged every fan to come to the Vicente Calderon, free of charge, to welcome the Croatian star.
