Yan Dhanda scores for Liverpool U-18s in a 2-0 pre-season win




Indian prodigy, Yan Dhanda was instrumental in Liverpool Under-18s 2-0 pre-season win over Shrewsbury Town. The 15-year old played in the first half and looked sharp on the ball as he opened the scoring with a delightful shot.

Youth team manager, Neil Critchley had fielded two different XIs in either half with a trialist also on the scoresheet.

Dhanda first broke into scene with his stint at West Bromwich Albion academy where he was part of the Under-16 side. In 2010, he was tapped by the Chelsea scouts after their 'Search for an Asian star' was conducted in United Kingdom.

Liverpool signed him in July, 2013 and the youngster hopes to marke his mark to earn a spot in the senior side in the near future.
